Associate General Counsel - Legal Manager

Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc (AEV) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our legal team in Bali, Indonesia. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and oversee legal services provided by external counsel, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. As the Associate General Counsel, you will work closely with the General Counsel to manage legal matters, including contracts, corporate governance, and risk management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all legal processes are efficient, cost-effective, and in line with AEV's policies. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in corporate law, international business, and a deep understanding of Indonesian legal landscape.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Coordinate and oversee legal services provided by external counsel, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Manage and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents for AEV's projects in Bali.
• Provide legal advice and support to AEV's management team on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance matters.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support AEV's business objectives.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential investments and partnerships.
• Stay updated with legal developments and trends relevant to AEV's operations in Bali.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate legal practice, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, including company law, contracts, and commercial transactions.
• Experience with legal software and tools, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with AEV's business sectors and operations is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
